GMA 43
Controller for mounting on DIN rail
Each detection point of your fixed gas monitoring system consists of a transmitter and a controller GMA 43. The GMA 43 allows to connect up to three transmitters of the same type. Transmitter and GMA 43 are connected by means of transmitter cable. The GMA 43 provides the power supply for the connected transmitters and receives and processes the sensor signals. Depending on the transmitter type, it monitors the ambient air for the presence of toxic or combustible gases and vapors or for its oxygen content. The GMA 43 offers a variety of features, which allow for adapting the gas monitoring system to your specific requirements:
- 3 digit display of the linear measurement values.
- Menu display.
- 1adjustable alarm threshold per channel
- Adjustable relay functions: NC/NO contacts, closed circuit or open circuit operation.
- Alarm hysteresis prevents "relay flattering"
GMA 44
Controller for 500 Gases
The controllers GMA41 (for 1 transmitter), GMA43 (for 3 transmitters) and GMA44 (for 4 transmitters) provide fixed gas control for more than 500 different combustible and toxic gases and oxygen.
3 alarm levels can be set individually. The adjustable alarm delay eliminates false alarms. The 3-digit LED display indicates the gas concentration permanently. Just push a button for detection range, gas and unit. Every controller provides 4 voltage-free relays for 3 alarm levels and fault warning.The relays may be used to control external alarm devices (beacons, buzzers) or to shut solenoid valves or to start a fan as specific counter measures to prevent or limit potential gas hazards.
